Thank you for your STUDENT FIELD TRIP request. Please complete the information below, and we will process your request in 7 to 14 business days.

This tour is limited to a capacity of 45 students. Groups larger than 45 students are subject to tour guide availability. A member of the Conservancy team will follow up with you about options.

Transportation Scholarship Application
Beginning September 1, 2026 the Conservancy will offer a limited number of scholarships to assist schools and groups with transportation costs associated with Conservancy-led Downtown L.A. and Koreatown Student Walking Tours. 

Schools may apply for up to $1,200 in transportation assistance. 

Title 1 schools and schools or groups serving underserved populations will receive priority. 

Awards for the 2026–2027 school year will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to available funds. Schools may receive up to two bus scholarship awards per school year.

7. Supporting Student Programs

Student Walking Tours are free of charge. 

All schools or groups will receive an invoice with a $10 per-student suggested donation.

Any donation your group is able to contribute helps ensure equitable learning opportunities for all.

*Downtown L.A.’s Chinatown – A Historic Neighborhood and The Heart of Historic K-Town walking tours are currently limited to groups of 30 students or fewer because of the high foot traffic and compact layout of the neighborhood. 


Tour requests will be reviewed within 7 to 14 business days.  All requests will receive a follow up email or phone call. We will advise you if we cannot accommodate your group. Groups whose requests can be accommodated will receive a booking confirmation with details.  IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION, YOUR GROUP IS NOT ON OUR CALENDAR.  


All participants in the Los Angeles Conservancy-sponsored Walking Tours knowingly and freely accept and assume all risks, both known and unknown, and AGREE TO RELEASE, DEFEND, INDEMNIFY, NOT SUE, AND HOLD HARMLESS the Los Angeles Conservancy, its principals, officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, agents and other participants from any and all claims, damages (including medical expenses and attorneys’ fees), injuries and expenses arising out of, or resulting from your voluntary attendance/participation in Walking Tours.
